The uniform plays a crucial role in our continued efforts to set high expectations.
We want students to wear their uniform with pride both in school and within the community.

Please find the uniform requirements below. We ask that specialist uniform items are purchased from the school stockists, APC Clothing of Tadcaster and Kool Kidz of Wetherby.

Girls’ Uniform 

A decision has been made to offer a choice of a straight and pleated skirt; students may choose whichever style allows for a more comfortable fit.

The new skirt will be available from our existing school uniform APC and Kool Kidz. Both providers allow you to try on in store or order on line at your convenience. Trousers are still permitted for girls. However, the trousers should be tailored plain black with skinny/tight styles remaining unsuitable. The school stockists provide trouser styles which are suitable if you wish to source from them. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of school trousers or shoes, please seek schools advice before removing tags.

If girls are wearing trousers then a house tie is compulsory. If wearing a skirt then a house tie is optional.

Boys’ Uniform 

Please note

Students whose ears have been pierced may wear one pair of plain studs. No facial piercings are allowed. No more than two rings and a watch is recommended. The school accepts no responsibility for loss of items of clothing or jewellery that students bring into school.
Items of clothing in denim are not permitted.
