Wetherby High School Sports Leaders have been outstanding in their contributions recently. Before the end of term the Sports Leaders helped run a 11 team ‘kwick cricket’ tournament at Grange Park and between them umpired 15 games and provided refreshments for staff, parents and 110 primary school children. We are delighted at Wetherby High School to congratulate our leaving Year 13 students on their achievements over the last two years. Yet again, the school has seen an increase in performance with more students than ever exceeding target grades and making good progress. Our overall pass rate at post 16 saw an increase to 98% with nearly two thirds of all students leaving with one or more qualifications at the highest levels of A*-B. Wetherby High School has been awarded the British Council’s prestigious International School Award. This is in recognition of all the work that Wetherby has done internationally with other schools. We are delighted with the award which is valid until 2020 and we look forward to developing international education with other schools.
